Do you take insurance?

At Revel Life Chiropractic we are honored to support our community as a wellness, "self pay" - based practice; as such we opt to not accept insurance. In working independently from insurance companies, we can provide individualized care that is tailored to your needs each visit. Insurance companies attempt to dictate the amount and type of care that you receive based on sickness and disease-based health models. We utilize a vitalistic model of chiropractic, in which we focus on the root cause of what is creating dis-ease in the body. Being able to provide you and your family care based on your needs allows us to support you to the upmost potential without compromise. Please note we do accept most forms of FSA and HSA and can provide you with an itemized receipt if you wish to file for potential reimbursement on your own.

How much does my initial visit cost?

Our initial visit consists of a thorough consultation, neuro-structural examination, and the first adjustment (unless x-rays are needed, then your first adjustment will be on your 2nd visit). The initial visit will take approximately one hour. The cost of the consultation, examination, first adjustment, and review of results is $150. During the second visit, we will make care recommendations, both short-term and long-term, based on your consultation and comprehensive examination results.

What can I expect following my first adjustment?

Immediately following your initial adjustment you will likely feel one of three things: better, no initial change or a little worse for a moment while your body is healing and undergoing changes. Each adjustment is likely to increase awareness and initiate change within your body that may take hours or even days to fully integrate. This form of body work is a lot like starting a new gym routine. There is a re-tuning of the body that needs to take place in order for you to move better and function better, and that takes time. With some initial consistency, the skeletal structure, muscles, connective tissue, and nervous system will adapt and evolve into better movement, function, and connection.

If I don’t have back pain, why would I see a Chiropractor?

Chiropractic care has been known to help many different kind of aliments. The key to Chiropractic care is that it doesn’t treat the condition itself, it affects the body as a whole, whether you are suffering or not. Chiropractic care is founded on vitalstic principles that supports the body’s natural healing ability through cultivating proper spinal alignment and mobility which removes tension from the nervous system. This promotes the bodies natural self-healing, self-regulating ability by allowing the energetic signals traveling back and forth from the brain and body to flow with ease. Most practice members report a host of health and well-being improvements. A few of those inlcude:

  • Increase resilience to stress and reduced anxiety
  • More deep and restful sleep
  • Feeling flexible and strong
  • Aging more gracefully
  • Increased focus and creativity
  • Better digestion
  • Feeling better emotionally

Do you take care of children?

Yes, chiropractic care is beneficial and safe for children of all ages. Children can be the best example of the potential of chiropractic in its ability to create balance and regulation both in the body and mind. Our nervous system and our bodies do an excellent job of adapting to life, from the moment that we are conceived. In today’s stimulating world of social media, altered food quality, and packed schedules, our children are adapting to a lot. All of this adaptation can take a toll on our children’s ability to deveolp and be well. Our work supports the rapidly growing + changing nervous system of your little one so that they may grow, develop, and experience life with ease and adaptability. If you’re curious about what care can look like for your child, please reach out!

Is it safe for me to get chiropractic care if I’m pregnant?

It is safe, and even optimal, to get adjusted at any stage of pregnancy. Prenatal chiropractic care is all about creating space, for you and your little one - physically, mentally, and emotionally. We use gentle and specific adjustments (referred to as the Webster Technique) to create space and balance in the bony structures and soft tissues of the pelvis. This allows for more ease and comfort for both mother and baby. We aim to support mothers adapt to the growing life inside of her, while helping the body move through this special process it is designed to do.
